چکیده

We present the manual for the program BRIDGE: Branching Ratio Inquiry/Decay Generated Events. The program is designed to operate with arbitrary models defined within matrix element generators, so that one can simulate events with small finalstate multiplicities, decay them with BRIDGE, and then pass them to showering and hadronization programs. BRI can automatically calculate widths of two and three body decays. DGE can decay unstable particles in any Les Houches formatted event file. DGE is useful for the generation of event files with long decay chains, replacing large matrix elements by small matrix elements followed by sequences of decays. BRIDGE is currently designed to work with the MadGraph/MadEvent programs for implementing and simulating new physics models. In particular, it can operate with the MadGraph implementation of the MSSM. In this manual we describe how to use BRIDGE, and present a number of sample results to demonstrate its accuracy.

Effects of final state interaction in B^+_c to D^0 K^+ decay

In this paper, the decay of Bc+ meson, which consists of two b and c heavy quarks, into the Do and K+  mesons was studied. Given that the experimental branching ratio for this decay was within the range of 3.75*10-5 to 11.16*10-5; it was decided to calculate the theoretical branching ratio by applying the final state interaction (FSI) through the T and cross-section channels. In this process, b...

Final State Interaction Effects in B+→J/ψ π+ Decay

In this research the exclusive decay of                         is calculated by QCD factorization (QCDF) method and final state interaction (FSI). First, the  decay is calculated via QCDF method. The result that is found by using the QCDF method is less than the experimental result. So FSI is considered to solve the decay. For this decay, via the exchange of mesons are chosen for the intermedi...

Supersymmetric contributions to the decay of an extra Z boson

We analyse in detail the supersymmetric contributions to the decay of an extra Z boson in effective rank 5 models, including the important effect of D-terms on sfermion masses. The inclusion of supersymmetric decay channels will reduce the Z ′ branching ratio to standard model particles resulting in lower Z ′ mass limits than those often quoted. In particular, the supersymmetric parameter space...

Branching Ratios of Ψ(2s) And

Since 2002, the treatment of the branching ratios of the ψ(2S) and χc0,1,2 has undergone an important restructuring. When measuring a branching ratio experimentally, it is not always possible to normalize the number of events observed in the corresponding decay mode to the total number of particles produced. Therefore, the experimenters sometimes report the number of observed decays with respec...

Test of Chiral Perturbation Theory in kaon decays

This paper presents results obtained by the CERN experiment NA48/2. Sample of 7146 K → πee decays, of 1164 K → πγγ events and of 120 K → πγee events have been collected with small background contamination. Branching ratio and form factors for three different models have been obtained for K → πee, plus a model-independent branching ratio. In addition, the first measurement of the direct CP viola...
